Where records are available, we can check reported accident and insurance claim information linked to the vehicle. The result may help reveal the date and type of a reported incident, affected areas, recorded repair items or claim amounts. This is useful for screening vehicles that may have had structural, flood or major collision damage.
2. Repair and Maintenance Records
Available service history can show maintenance visits and recorded repairs, including items such as oil changes, brake work, battery replacement, body repairs or major component service. A consistent history can help a buyer understand how the vehicle was used and maintained.
3. Mileage Records and Consistency Check
We compare available mileage entries from different dates and service events with the current odometer reading. This helps identify unusual changes, gaps or possible mileage rollback. Mileage records are evidence for risk assessment, not an absolute guarantee of the vehicle’s true total distance.
4. Repair-Shop Diagnostic Trouble Code Information
Where historical workshop diagnostic information is available, we can review recorded diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). We can also arrange a current diagnostic scan when the vehicle and compatible equipment are accessible. Codes may point to faults in the engine, transmission, battery, charging, braking, airbag, body-control or other electronic systems.
A stored or current fault code does not by itself prove that a component must be replaced. Some codes are intermittent, previously repaired or caused by low voltage. We therefore interpret diagnostic information together with the vehicle condition, warning lights and inspection results.

Important Coverage Notice
Record coverage varies by vehicle, manufacturer, insurer, repair network, region and data source. Not every accident, repair, maintenance event, mileage reading or diagnostic code is reported to a searchable system. A result showing no available record does not prove that the vehicle has never been damaged or repaired.
For higher-value purchases, we recommend combining the record check with a physical inspection, paint-depth measurement, underbody and structural inspection, road test, and a current electronic diagnostic scan.
