Li Auto has launched the all-new L6 in a single Ultra configuration priced at RMB 249,800. The new five-seat extended-range SUV combines a larger 51 kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive, upgraded computing hardware and a revised chassis aimed at improving both electric driving and handling.
Battery and range
The new L6 uses a 51 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery designed for extended-range vehicles. CLTC pure-electric range is rated at 300 km, while combined range reaches 1,250 km. Charging from 20% to 80% takes about 12 minutes. Li Auto says the larger pack is intended to make daily urban and short-distance driving possible mainly on electricity, with the range extender reserved for longer trips.
Design and equipment
The exterior keeps the L6’s familiar five-seat SUV proportions. Dimensions are 4,935/1,960/1,735 mm with a 2,920 mm wheelbase. The car receives standard adaptive high-beam headlights, UWB near-field sensing, full-vehicle power doors and seven exterior color choices. Four special colors, the black sport package and the front dual zero-gravity seats are free during the launch promotion ending at 24:00 on August 31, 2026.
Cabin and intelligent technology
A new 29-inch 6K panoramic display combines the central and passenger screens. The cabin adds electrically adjustable air vents, magnetic accessory points, an integrated camera interface and a more flexible second-row backrest with up to 140 degrees of adjustment. Dual-layer acoustic glass, an insulated panoramic roof and four-point active noise reduction support a quieter cabin.
Computing hardware is upgraded to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 with 32 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. Driver-assistance hardware is standard with one self-developed M100 chip rated at 1,280 TOPS, while the optional Embodied Intelligence M100 package adds a second M100 chip and three solid-state variable-focus LiDAR units. Related functions are scheduled to roll out from late July.
Chassis and driving
The suspension arms are now aluminum, with newly developed springs, bushings and anti-roll bars. A dual-valve continuously variable damping system separately controls compression and rebound. Li Auto claims up to a 30% reduction in body roll while maintaining ride comfort. Dual-motor all-wheel drive is standard, and a powered tow hitch is available as a RMB 6,000 option with a maximum towing capacity of 1.5 tonnes.
Launch offer and options
During the launch period, the optional Embodied Intelligence M100 package is reduced from RMB 30,000 to RMB 20,000. The rear entertainment package costs RMB 10,000 and includes a 21-inch 4K screen, a streaming rear-view mirror, second-row vanity mirrors and ceiling audio.
Li Auto says demo and test-drive vehicles are already entering stores nationwide, with first deliveries expected as early as the following Monday.
