Overseas workshops repairing Xiaomi vehicles may need China-side technical coordination when a diagnostic session, replacement-module compatibility check or supported online programming procedure is required. LEO EV CAR helps repair businesses, importers and vehicle owners assess those cases remotely before work begins.
Every case is reviewed individually. Remote support depends on the vehicle, its market, the reported fault, the replacement part, available system access and the authorisation provided by the vehicle owner or repair facility. We do not promise that a particular function, update or repair result will be available before the case has been checked.
What LEO EV CAR can coordinate
Our China-side technical support is designed for legitimate repair and after-sales cases. After confirming the vehicle information and work scope, we can assess whether a remote diagnostic session or supported programming workflow is appropriate.
- Remote diagnostic review: read available diagnostic information, review fault-code evidence, check module communication and help define the next repair question.
- Replacement-module assessment: review part numbers, vehicle configuration and the reported fault before deciding whether matching or programming may be supported.
- Programming and initialization cases: assess eligible control-unit, BMS or system-initialization work where the vehicle, platform access and authorisation support it.
- Post-repair coordination: review results after local mechanical or electrical repairs and identify whether further diagnosis is needed.
Availability varies by model, software version, region, vehicle condition and the applicable platform. A damaged, water-affected or salvage vehicle may have additional restrictions and requires a careful case review.
Diagnostics first, programming second
Programming should follow evidence, not replace diagnosis. We normally begin by collecting the vehicle model, VIN, current symptoms, dashboard photos, scan results and the repair history. For a replacement module, provide clear photographs of the label and the exact part number. This helps avoid ordering or attempting work on a part that is incompatible with the vehicle configuration.
A remote session may support fault-code reading or clearing, system checks, ECU-status review and module-communication review when the vehicle and diagnostic environment allow it. Clearing a fault code is not proof that the underlying fault has been repaired. If a code returns, the local workshop should continue the physical and electrical diagnosis before requesting another programming attempt.
Module matching and programming requests
After a collision repair or component replacement, a workshop may need to check whether a module is eligible for matching, calibration or supported online programming. Typical requests can involve driver-assistance systems, domain controllers, battery-management components or other electronic control units. The exact function is determined only after the relevant vehicle and part details are reviewed.
LEO EV CAR does not represent itself as a Xiaomi authorised service centre or official partner. Where a task requires official tools, online access or a supported service channel, feasibility and permissions must be confirmed for that specific case. We will tell you when a requested operation is outside the available or authorised scope.
Security-sensitive operations
Requests involving keys, security data, immobiliser-related functions, module authorisation or account-related functions require additional checks. These services are considered only when the requester can provide valid proof of vehicle ownership or authorised repair responsibility and the task is permitted by the relevant system and law. LEO EV CAR does not provide instructions or services intended to bypass theft protection, ownership controls or other vehicle-security mechanisms.
High-voltage and serious-damage cases
High-voltage faults, collision damage, flooding and total-loss recovery demand special caution. Local technicians must follow the vehicle manufacturer’s safety procedures, use appropriate protective equipment and make the vehicle safe before any diagnostic session. Remote support does not replace on-site high-voltage inspection, insulation testing, repair quality control or local legal requirements.
For an eligible case, we can help organise a diagnostic review after the local workshop has completed the necessary safety checks. No remote service should be interpreted as a guarantee that a vehicle can be powered on, driven or registered after a serious-damage repair.
What your workshop needs for a remote case
- A Windows computer with stable internet access;
- a suitable diagnostic interface and the required local connection cables for the vehicle;
- ToDesk or another agreed remote-support tool installed on the workshop computer;
- the vehicle model, VIN, country of use, repair history, diagnostic screenshots and part labels where relevant;
- proof of ownership or repair authorisation for security-sensitive requests.
Before a session, we confirm the task, the available evidence and the expected diagnostic scope. This avoids presenting a complex repair as a one-click service.
How to request support
Send LEO EV CAR the vehicle model, VIN if available, destination country, repair history, current symptoms and screenshots or photos of the diagnostic data. For parts or module cases, include the part number and photos of the original and replacement labels. We will review whether remote coordination is suitable and explain the next practical step.
